Titan Investigations moves into their new centrally based Derby Head office and Training Centre.
Titan Private Investigation Ltd’s new head office is located in Pride Park and is where operational deployments are commanded from, and our surveillance training courses are now being delivered from our new base. Titan’s first office was also located in Derby, and after we moved in eight years ago then led to a rapid expansion and further offices being opened in Nottingham, Leicester, Birmingham, Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, Cambridge and London giving us a national reach.

Titan Investigations was founded by its current Managing Director, Simon Henson in 2014 after leaving the Police Force after 17 years exemplary service investigating Serious Organised Crime and latterly Counterterrorism on a national basis. In 2017, Titan began the delivery of its surveillance training courses to ensure that it could meet future operational demand. Our learners have been attracted to our surveillance courses from Europe and as far as South Africa.
To fill the current shortfall of surveillance operatives within the Private Investigation Industry, Titan have pledged to deliver eight 5-day surveillance courses in 2023. The cost has been reduced by 25% to attract more learners and to make it affordable for all. This makes Titan’s 5 day RQF Level 4 (Intermediate) Covert Surveillance Operations course the cheapest in the UK.
We may be the cheapest, but arguably we offer the best value for money, content and post-course opportunities.
Our 5 day RQF Level 4 (Intermediate) course in Covert Surveillance Operations has the Advanced syllabus delivered bar the Night Surveillance module. This means that our learners are better equipped with knowledge and ready for the riggers of the operational environment.

We don’t stop there! Titan is predominantly an operational company and doesn’t profit from our training courses. This is where we differ from other training providers as we are not only able to deliver an industry-recognized certificated surveillance course, but we are able to further develop our successful course graduates by offering operational deployments. Our graduates are enrolled onto the industry-renowned “GROW” Student Aftercare Programme.

Titan learners receive the best training from former Police surveillance operatives and trainers and then receive the best aftercare and development to ensure they are successful within the Private Investigation Industry.
Titan doesn’t promise its graduates work or employment post course, however we do promise the opportunity to work for us if you so wish to. In the last 28 days Titan has offered 64 surveillance deployments to its graduates at a rate of pay of £25/hour and on plot mileage at £0.40/mile. The choice of operational deployments and further development is offered through the Titan Operational Resourcing Group if you wish to take it and we give priority to Titan graduates.
Titan does still offer operational deployments and development to graduates from other training providers to fulfil their inability to provide operational work, however we always prioritise Titan graduates.

Titan Surveillance Training Course Dates 2023
The first four surveillance courses for 2023 have been released on the following dates and reduced in price by 25% and a further four will be schedules in the second half of 2023;
- 9th-13th January 2023
- 27th February-3rd March 2023
- 17th-21st April 2023
- 12th-16th June 2023
We still have vacancies on the final course for 2022 on 21st – 25th November 2022.
After outgrowing our previous Derby office we are excited to now be located within our new office on Pride Park in Derby. This houses our office personnel on the operational arm of Titan and is also where our training is delivered from. Hotels are located close by where our learners can reside during the course.
