Why do learners choose Titan as their preferred training provider?

- Titan’s surveillance courses are certificated to an RQF Level 4 with awarding body SfJ.
- Titan has an instructor/ learner ratio of 1:3.
- Titan’s course well exceeds the expectations/ syllabus set by the awarding body to ensure its learners are more than prepared for operational deployments.
- Our instructors come from a government surveillance background and have a combined service length of nearly 80 years and countless years operating within the private sector.

What surveillance training courses does Titan deliver?
Titan offers two courses which are certificated by Skills For Justice to a Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) Level 4.
What are RQF Qualifications?
The RQF came into force in 2015 and was designed to offer a simpler system for managing qualifications regulated by Ofqual.
Similar to a library bookcase, the RQF allows their providers to index qualifications based on their level and size. The higher the qualification, the greater the complexity and difficulty of the skills and knowledge associated with the qualification.
Titan delivers two surveillance courses, an Intermediate and an Advanced RQF Level 4 in Covert Surveillance Operations. The Intermediate course is a 5-day course and the Advanced is a 2-week course.
5 Day Intermediate Surveillance Training Course

2 Week Advanced Surveillance Course
More information – Titan 2 Week Advanced Surveillance Training
What is the difference between the two courses?
The Intermediate and Advanced syllabi are very similar in content, other than the Advanced has a night-time surveillance element. The Intermediate course covers so much more than the awarding body has set out as a minimum requirement. It is effectively an Advanced course with a lower Total Qualification Time (TQT) resulting in the learner gaining so much more.
Why Should I Choose the Advanced RQF Level 4 Rather than Intermediate?
The main reason is that you receive double the tuition at a ratio of 1 instructor to 2 students. However, it is almost double the cost. The advanced course will help with a learner’s confidence and ability. However, the Intermediate RQF Level 4 won’t put you at a disadvantage. We have had some great students through the intermediate course who are complete success stories when combining the intermediate qualification with Titan’s Titan student aftercare programme. Some providers offer an 8-week course and allegedly receive expressions of interest. Such courses will realistically cost in the region of £8000 and eight weeks of missed revenue generation whilst studying. This, in our opinion, is only suitable for the government and corporate sector learners where the budget is much larger.
Titan has adopted a commercially viable method of delivering out training by providing shorter courses costing the learner less combined with further development post course in the form of the ‘GROW’ Student Aftercare Programme. Due to Titan being an operational company, our courses are subsidised and are therefore non-profit-making, meaning that we are investing in the learner. We will offer successful Titan graduates’ opportunities through the aftercare programme and invest in their development. Past and present Titan graduates are readily available to speak with you independently regarding their experiences with Titan’s training and post-graduation opportunities.
