Surveillance reports, what should be included?

Surveillance requires a minimum of two surveillance operatives unless it is a static surveillance. This is when an address for example is the focus of the observations and the operative is required to gain imagery of all persons entering and exiting. The majority of surveillance deployments however require the operatives to follow a person covertly away from an address and to record the locations attended, associations and body language. The reason it requires two operatives is so that the operatives can share their exposure to the subject of the investigations. This means the same operatives or vehicle will not constantly be behind the subject.

Once a deployment is completed a report is written. This report outlines the movements of the subject throughout the deployment and will include images taken from the surveillance footage. This report is fully admissible in a civil, family or criminal court. We will also provide you with the unedited surveillance footage if so required. Once again this is also fully admissible in a civil, family or criminal court.
