Titan Investigations Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s), where we aim to address your inquiries and provide insights into our private investigation services. Background checks are bespoke to your requirements. The areas that we are able to research are not limited to but generally the below:

We will need to know the size of the property or office in question and also which areas require a sweep or whether it is its entirety.
Bug sweeps start from £900+VAT (£1080).

GPS vehicle trackers will record the locations a vehicle visits. We will need to know the colour, make, model and registration number of a vehicle and where it is parked overnight. Once the tracking device is deployed we will give you access to the tracker which will allow you to monitor it live time or historically. At the end of the deployment you will receive a hard copy of all of the data that the tracker has recorded. This will allow you to gain intelligence as to when he/ her may have liaisons and then be able to deploy a surveillance to gain irrefutable evidence. Trackers cost £350 per week plus VAT (£420).
We will require an electronic copy of all documents in question and at least 2 authentic examples of handwriting, or in the event of signature comparison, up to 12 genuine signatures of a similar date. This can be official documents such as a driving license or a passport. These will need to be sent to enquiries@titaninvestigations.co.uk. We will then allocate one of our professional Graphologists who can prepare one of 2 reports. The first is a report outlining an initial assessment which is not intended for court which costs £350+VAT (£420) for handwriting analysis or £400+VAT (£480) for signature analysis.
The second is a report intended for the admission in court and contains CPR35 report. This costs £900+VAT (£1080).

Titan offers EyeDetect lie detector testing which is 92-96% reliable. I personally believe it is 100% accurate however limitations have to be in built.
The test takes approximately 30 minutes and you are able to ask three questions. The software then makes a number of statements in regard to the three questions which the candidate answers true or false to. The test is £480 inclusive of VAT which is required to be paid prior to the commencement of the test. Payment can be made by either card payment or card transfer. The tests are conducted from our Derby office or alternatively we will travel to you for a £60 fee inclusive of VAT.

There are 2 main types of investigation that we can conduct in relation to matrimonial/ cheating partners.
The first is when you are aware of when your partner has the opportunity to cheat, and the second is when you really don’t know when the opportunity is there or happening.
In the first scenario we would deploy 2 operatives to record his/ her movements, associations and body language. You will be updated throughout the deployment with live time updates.
Operatives cost £50 per hour per operative plus VAT and we deploy for a minimum of 5 hours at a time. So a minimum surveillance of 5 hours is £600 inclusive of VAT. We will then prepare a comprehensive report outlining your partner’s movements, associations and locations visited. This includes images which are taken from the surveillance footage.
We will require the following information;
- The start location,
- Any itinerary known,
- Any associated vehicles,
- An image of the subject.
In the second scenario we would advise deploying a GPS vehicle tracker on his/ her vehicle which will record the locations visited. We will give you access to the tracker which will allow you to monitor it live time or historically. At the end of the deployment you will receive a hard copy of all of the data that the tracker has recorded. This will allow you to gain intelligence as to when he/ her may have liaisons and then be able to deploy a surveillance to gain irrefutable evidence. Trackers cost £350 per week plus VAT (£420).
We will require the location of the vehicle where it is parked overnight and the colour, make, model and registration of the vehicle. The device is deployed in the early hours of the morning.
Person traces take approximately 24 hours and are based on a no trace no fee basis. So if we are unsuccessful we provide a refund in full.
The information we will require to proceed the trace is;
- Full name,
- Date of birth,
- Last known address.
The fee for this service is £360. Payment is required upon instruction and can be made via bank transfer or card payment over the telephone.

The main operational demand within the industry is in the form of surveillance whether that be on behalf of a private or corporate client. This being the case, we will require you to be trained in surveillance.
Titan is the preferred surveillance provider to the Institute of Professional Investigators (IPI) and our courses are promoted and able to purchase through the Association of British Investigators (ABI).
Our courses are certificated by Skills for Justice awarding body, meaning you will achieve a Level 4 in Covert Surveillance Operations.

They also have a wealth of commercial surveillance knowledge since leaving their respective government roles.
